Because one act of kindness can change someone’s day

Three people in black-shirts with white text that reads 'Feed the Streets Outreach' are standing together, with one person in shorts and two in jeans, under a white canopy on a city street. There are tents, cars, and people in the background.

About Us

Feed the Streets began in 2014 when a small group of friends got together, made some sandwiches and passed out meals in MacArthur Park. Today, we operate five activations weekly, feeding 800+ people each week across three different locations in Los Angeles.

At Feed the Streets we believe that one small act of kindness can change someones day. Our consistent and compassionate volunteers are integral to this work—our weekly activations are community oriented events focused on providing hot meals, clothing and hygiene to fellow community members in need. Volunteers come from all walks of life, working together with the shared belief that all people deserve compassion and support.
